Custom Surfboards:
The baseline glassing is typical to or a little stronger than the standard for that length of board; shortboards get 2-3 layers of 4oz, midlengths and longboards get a combination of 2-3 layers of 4oz or 6oz depending on the desired flex and weight. Fin patches, fiberglass leash loops, and future fin boxes, and a wet sand finish are standard on all boards.
I build my boards with a high density Poly foam blank and epoxy/fiberglass finish. This is the best of both worlds in my opinion, and has proven to hold up great over time. This does have a higher material cost and makes for a longer glassing time, but I believe it results in a superior surfboard. I shape, glass, and sand every board personally.
This is a baseline price that can go up depending on the options you choose.
